My Google Summit 2018 Experience
Being part of an incredible event such as Google Summit 2018 is definitely invigorating! I felt honoured and precious being among all these great international educators who graciously shared their expertise. Being part of my Master's program helped me a lot in realizing how integrating technology into our classrooms would be beneficial for both our students' and our own growth as an international caliber educator. As a result, I have been exposed to many apps and extensions that serve that purpose. It was really replenishing to feel that I am up-to-date with so many apps the speakers and presenters have talked about during the summit. It was a beyond incredible feeling to have experienced knowing so much on Google apps. I have actually have realized that I became a Google junkie, sorta speak! I am very proud of myself. And now after I have absorbed all the info I was posted with, I have decided to plan a professional development session to lead for my school teachers on using some of the G-suite apps that I find helpful and engaging to have in any of our classrooms.
After attending this summit, I have also realized how eager I am to be part of Google's EdTech team so I am planning to be certified. All in all I am very proud of myself!
